This place is one of my favorite thai places in the area. Been going here for years and nothing has changed - from the service with a smile, the amazing ambiance filled with authentic Thai artifacts, and the food. I have a few go to's and my hubby likes to try new things. This visit, I got my favorite duck curry with white rice (not my usual pineapple fried rice), pad thai (I love me some saucy pad thai), crab rangoons (stuffed with so much cheese and crab), and the spare ribs (toasted to perfection).

My favorite food critic, (The wife) was in the mood for Thai food. She loves Tom Kha Kai. So the choices of where was next and we chose Lucky Elephant as it was close-by. The decor is very nice and food is ok here. The staff are welcoming and attentive. You can sit at a table or a booth and if you bring 10 friends they have tables to accomodate. They also keep the AC low on hot days so you can beat the heat. The shrimp salad was both spicy with a Citrus pop that had great taste. The soup was good but I really miss the old days when Thai soups had straw mushrooms instead of white button. It's all about cost but what a difference in texture. We will be back to sample the lunch menu as it looks filling for the price.

Been going here for years! Food is always good! Came here for their lunch special. Today I got the L6 sliced duck on a bed of veggies w/ brown ginger sauce lunch special and my fiance got L1 Garlic and black peper w/ fish. Both came with an eggroll and soup. They are always attentive and refilled our water without being asked. Beautiful restaurant inside!

Like taking a trip to a foreign land without even leaving San Dimas. Artfully decorated from faux rooftops to embroidered table covers. Each both has a whimsical poster featuring playful elephant characters along with one of their delicious appetizers. At our booth the featured menu item was a plate of shrimp donuts. The subliminal message worked like a magic spell and the next thing we knew we asked our server if we could have an order of those fantastic looking rounds of fried shrimp. Happily ever after must start with a shrimp donut, we enjoyed them to no end, but eating only one a piece so as to not spoil our dinner. We love green curry and the Elephant did not disappoint. Same for the tofu with fresh ginger. Plenty of food for two and enough leftover to take home and enjoy again.

Returning to Lucky Elephant Thai Cuisine for the second time with friends after church was a pleasant experience overall, albeit with a minor hiccup. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted and seated in the spacious, impeccably clean restaurant. The inviting atmosphere set the stage for what we hoped would be another delightful meal. Throughout our visit, the service was excellent, with attentive staff ensuring our glasses were consistently filled, contributing to the welcoming ambiance. However, we did encounter a slight delay in receiving our food, waiting around 20-25 minutes from the time of ordering. Despite this, the majority of our dishes were delicious, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavorful cuisine. Unfortunately, one dish, the 'Crying Tiger,' failed to live up to our expectations. While it was decent, it lacked the wow factor of the other menu items and left us feeling underwhelmed. Nevertheless, this minor disappointment did not overshadow the overall positive experience we had at Lucky Elephant Thai Cuisine. With its inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and flavorful dishes, it remains a restaurant worth visiting, albeit with a note to perhaps skip the 'Crying Tiger' on future visits. Came for an impromptu dinner on this freezing wet night and was seated with a warm welcome as usual. Although in this heavy rain, there was still a lot of customers for dinner. Thats how good their food is here! There's always a couple of new staff everytime I come here!. They still wear the uniform and play the music of their culture which gives the place that authentic ambience. Clean from the entrance to the rest room. They don't give more than enough portions like they used to but still tastes delicious and spicy. They do ask the level of spiciness you want. Prices has gone up but tgat doesn't stop me from coming here!

This restaurant is amazing!! Not too crowded when I went on a Saturday night around 8pm. The service is nice and they constantly check to see if everything is okay We ordered 3 things for two people and I was stuffed by the end of the meal! My favorite would be the massaman curry with chicken and the peanut sauce that came with the spring rolls. The spring rolls were nothing special if I'm being honest but the sauce was 10/10. The seafood fried rice had a good amount of sea food in it. Next time I want to try their fried catfish or meat sateh!
